Submit Your Book for Consideration

Helping families discover wonderful children’s books, one story at a time.

Kids Book Hub considers independently published picture books and chapter books for readers through age 14. To be considered, please complete the submission form and provide one complimentary physical copy of your book.

How the Submission Process Works

Please complete both parts of the submission process so I have the information and physical book needed to consider your title.

Complete the Form

Submit one form for each title you would like considered for the Kids Book Hub curated book collection.

Send a Physical Copy

Mail one complimentary copy or have a retailer ship the book directly to Kids Book Hub.

Review & Consideration

I’ll review the book as a complete reader experience and consider its quality, age appropriateness, readability, illustrations, editing, accuracy, audience appeal, and overall fit for Kids Book Hub.

A Curated Book Library

What We Look For

Kids Book Hub is a curated collection, so submitting a book does not automatically guarantee inclusion. Each title is considered as a complete reader experience and with the families, teachers, librarians, and homeschoolers who use Kids Book Hub in mind.

Books Are Considered For:

  • Story or content quality
  • Age appropriateness and readability
  • Illustration quality and consistency
  • Editing, grammar, and overall presentation
  • Accuracy for educational or informational content
  • Audience appeal and usefulness
  • Overall fit with the Kids Book Hub community
The big picture: Books should feel thoughtfully written, carefully assembled, professionally presented, and ready to confidently recommend to families.

If Your Book Is Approved

Approved titles may be added to the Kids Book Hub Library with the book information provided in your submission.

Your listing can include your preferred purchase link, such as Amazon or your author website.

Once approved, your book may also become eligible for additional Kids Book Hub opportunities as they arise.

Library inclusion does not automatically include:
a Little Lantern Review, social media feature, giveaway, Holiday Gift Guide placement, seasonal promotion, or other promotional opportunity. Those are separate opportunities and may have their own selection criteria.

Where to Send Your Book

You may mail the book yourself or order a copy through Amazon or another retailer and have it shipped directly to the address shown here.

International authors: You may send the book through an online retailer that delivers within the United States or mail it internationally.

Your Book Can Keep Reaching Young Readers

Kids Book Hub is working toward opening a Little Free Library. After consideration, submitted books may become part of the collection and help local children and families discover new independently published stories.

Please note: Physical review copies are required and will not be returned. Sending a book does not guarantee approval, a public review, recommendation, social media feature, promotional opportunity, or placement in the Kids Book Hub curated collection. Because of the number of books submitted for consideration, Kids Book Hub may not provide individual decline notifications or personalized feedback. Authors will be contacted if their book is approved and added to the library. If you do not receive a response, the title was not selected for the library at this time. Please submit a separate form and physical copy for each title you would like considered.
