Every children's author has a story.

A lesson learned the hard way. A launch that didn't go as planned. A moment of encouragement that kept you going. A piece of advice you wish someone had shared sooner.

The Children's Author Wisdom Project was created to collect and preserve the experiences, lessons, and insights of children's authors. Through this initiative, Kids Book Hub is gathering real stories from real authors to help encourage, educate, and inspire future generations of writers and illustrators.

Whether you've published one book or ten, your journey matters. The challenges you've faced, the mistakes you've made, the successes you've celebrated, and the lessons you've learned may be exactly what another author needs to hear.

Submissions may be featured in future Kids Book Hub resources, articles, newsletters, educational materials, and collaborative publications. Our goal is simple: to create a lasting collection of wisdom that helps children's authors navigate the publishing journey with greater confidence and encouragement.

You do not need to answer every question. Share one story or many. Short responses are welcome, and personal experiences are encouraged.

Together, we're building a resource created by authors, for authors.
