Summer Book Giveaways

Throughout the summer, Kids Book Hub continues the excitement of SRKF with weekly Summer Book Giveaways featuring physical copies of children's books donated by participating authors.

These giveaways help families discover new books, connect with independent authors, and keep children excited about reading long after the free eBook event ends.

Authors who missed the Memorial Day Weekend eBook event—or who simply want another way to reach families—are welcome to participate.

How It Works

Weekly Giveaways

  • Every Tuesday, four winning families are selected.

  • Each winning family receives the opportunity to choose four books from the available giveaway catalog.

  • Participating authors ship their donated books directly to the winners.

Special Summer Drawings

  • Mid-July Build Your Own Library Giveaway: One lucky family will receive 15 books of their choice from the available catalog.

  • End-of-Summer Grand Finale: Additional winners and prize packages will be announced using the remaining donated books.

Important Notes

  • Winners are selected by Kids Book Hub.

  • Winners are removed from future drawings so more families have a chance to participate.

  • Families choose from available books while supplies last.

  • Authors are responsible for shipping their donated books.

  • Kids Book Hub will provide winners' shipping information directly to participating authors.

  • We consider author and winner locations whenever possible to help reduce international shipping costs.

Who Can Participate?

The Summer Book Giveaways are open to children's book authors with physical copies available to donate.

This opportunity may be especially helpful for authors who:

  • Participated in the Memorial Day Weekend eBook event

  • Missed the eBook submission deadline

  • Publish wide and do not offer Kindle-exclusive promotions

  • Want to promote physical books

  • Enjoy connecting directly with readers and families

Help Spread the Word

Authors are encouraged to share the Summer Book Giveaways with their audience.

Examples include:

  • "Want a chance to win my book?"

  • "Enter the Summer Book Giveaways!"

  • "Download the free Activity Guide and enter to win."

The more families who participate, the more visibility participating authors receive.

What to Expect

Participation is completely optional.

While we cannot guarantee that every donated book will be selected, our goal is to showcase as many authors as possible throughout the summer through:

  • Weekly winner announcements

  • Social media features

  • Email promotions

  • Special prize drawings

Books selected by winners will be featured in giveaway posts that highlight both the books and their authors.
